THE REASONS OF PREFERED AND EXPECTANCES OF THE STUDENTS WHICH STUDY IN RECREATION DEPARTMENT

This study is aimed to find out the reason why the learner preferred recreation departments’ constitution to expectation of the students and to make suggestions to finding solution by using the extant situations. The main mass of the research Education in Muğla, Adnan Menderes, Pamukkale, Hacettepe, The Capital, Kırıkkale, Turkey, Anatolia, Sakarya, Kocaeli University, Department of Recreation, 1, 2, 3, and 4 constituted approximately 1500 students in grades reaching 37% of total study sample consisted of 400 students. Data analysis (IBM SPSS) for Windows (19.0) statistical package program, the frequency and percentage distributions were made by Cronbach's alpha coefficient of internal consistency in the application was calculated as 0.91.Comments, the row percentages reflected in the tables are taken into account the data obtained. According to the results of the survey data obtained from the %, 32.8 recreation part of the students preferred to be seen that they are interested. 47.2% percent of students academically partly adequate recreation department of the teaching staff of finding a portion of 22% of the poor has found. Graduating students are related to the Recreation department of the 25.8% of finding jobs, 31.8% can not find the business opportunity. Recreation department students have taken academic courses in time when viewed from the views of students' 41.3% third of that unnecessary courses, 22.5% application areas is insufficient Scroll subjects, 21.3% in one third said that there is insufficient content of the courses. Recreation departments of the learning rate of students who see and read the chapters satisfied 51.5% of the students, while 30.5% wanted to make the transition to Part Physical Education Teacher. Made as a result of this study, the universities in our country as of general education and training is inadequate in some respects, a fact that the science is fully captured. Bu çalışma Rekreasyon Bölümlerinin tercih edilme nedenleri ve bölüm öğrencilerinin beklentilerine ilişkin mevcut durumunu ortaya koyarak çözüm önerilerinde bulunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmanın evrenini Muğla, Adnan Menderes, Pamukkale, Hacettepe, Başkent, Kırıkkale, Anadolu, Sakarya ve Kocaeli Üniversiteleri, Rekreasyon Bölümü hazırlık, 1.2,3.,ve 4. sınıflarında yer alan yaklaşık 1500 öğrencinin %37’sine ulaşılarak toplamda 400 öğrenci araştırmanın örneklem grubunu oluşturmuştur. Verilerin analizi IBM SPSS) for Windows (19,0) istatistik paket programında, frekans ve yüzde dağılımlar yoluyla yapılmıştır. Yorumlarda, satır yüzdeleri göz önünde bulundurulmuştur Elde edilen veriler tablolar halinde yansıtılmıştır. Anket sonuçlarından elde edilen verilere göre öğrencilerin % 32,8 i rekreasyon bölümünü ilgi duydukları için tercih ettikleri görülmektedir. Öğrencilerin %47.2 si rekreasyon bölümündeki öğretim elemanlarını akademik açıdan kısmen yeterli bulurken % 22 lik bir kısmı ise yetersiz bulmuştur. Rekreasyon bölümünden mezun olan öğrencilerin %25.8 i alanıyla ilgili iş imkanı bulurken,%31.8’ i ise iş imkanı bulamamaktadır. Rekreasyon bölümü öğrencilerinin eğitim-öğretim zamanı içinde almış oldukları derslerdeki görüşlerine bakıldığı zaman öğrencilerin % 41,3’ü gereksiz derslerin olduğunu, % 22,5’inin derslerdeki uygulama alanlarının yetersiz olduğunu,%21,3’ünün derslerin içeriğinin yetersiz olduğunu söylemişlerdir. Rekreasyon bölümünde öğrenim görüp okuduğu bölümden memnun olan öğrenci oranı % 51,5’iken öğrencilerin % 30,5’i Beden Eğitimi Öğretmenliği Bölümüne geçiş yapmak istemiştir. Sonuç olarak yapılan bu çalışmada, ülkemizde genel itibari ile üniversitelerde verilen eğitim ve öğretimin bazı açılardan yetersiz olduğu, bilimsel kriterlere uygun olmadığı bir gerçektir. Siyasi veya ekonomik çıkarlar gözetilerek açılan rekreasyon bölümleri; ne amacına uygun olarak ders programı belirlemekte, Ne de bölüm açılmadan önce takip edilen ülkelerde ki rekreasyon programına uygun olarak eğitim vermediği tespit edilmiştir.
