SAĞLIK TOPLARIYLA UYGULANAN ÇABUK KUVVET ANTRENMANLARININ 14-16 YAŞ KADIN VOLEYBOLCULARIN SERVİS-SMAÇ ATIŞ PERFORMANSLARINA ETKİSİ

Aim: The aim of this study to examine the effects of quickstrength training medicine balls applied to non-elite women 14-16 aged on volleyballs’ service-spiking performances. Method: The study group consisted of 20 volunteer women volleyball athletes within the Sultangazi Sports Club divided into research (N; 10, age: 14,8±0,78, height average: 169,7±5,56 cm, mass average: 53,8±3,25 kg) control (N;10, age: 14,8±0,78, height average: 162±4,49 cm, mass average: 50,01±2,60 kg). Quick-strength training prepared for 5 units per week during 8 weeks for both control and experimental group, same training without medicine ball applied to control group. Pyramidal method started with the number of repetitions 6-12, sets 2-4, the rest 1-2 min continued increasing overload. At the beginning and end of the training the athletes’ service and spike tests measured and results evaluated as statistically significant p<0.05 in SPSS 15.0 program, for intragroup comparisons Wilcoxon test, for intergroup comparisons Mann Whitney U test used. Findings and Conclusion: There were statistically significant differences in the data of both experimental and control groups at the end of 8-week quick strength training which was applied with technical trainings (p<0.05), however, no significant differences were found between the groups (p>0.05). This may be due to the fact that the training applied to small age groups, less movements in pyramidalcircuit methods and insufficient the number of repetitions and low load intensity. These deficiencies are thought to be caused by the fact that special force studies are not implemented.
