The aim of this study has been to reveal morphometrical chances of weightlifting sports on hand finger bones. In this work, 9 adult male weightlifters and 9 adult male sedentaries were included. The two dimensional (2D) MDCT images of the right and left hand ossa digitorum manus of all weightlifters and sedentaries were reconstructed 3-dimensionally via a software (Mimics 13.1). Although many finger bone volume have higher numerical values than sedentaries among the weightlifters, both volume and length of the finger bones showed no significant differences between the groups. When compared the volume and lengths of the right and left hand bones, in the sedentaries to many of the bone volumes were higher in the right hand. Beside this, when the left hand finger bones (proximal, medial and distal phalanges), volume and length percentage (%) were compared to averages of rates, significant differences coutdn’t be found. Conclusion: The hand finger bone volume and lengths of the weightlifters were not different in comparison with to those of the sedentaries. However, the comparisons within the group; sedanteries more bone volume difference between the right and left hand, the presence of sedentary daily life due to the use of the right hand dominant, if the effect of at least some of the work weightlifters highest weight is thought to reduce this difference.
